Responsibilities: Under established guidelines, performs general pharmacy technical functions and assists the pharmacist as directed in areas of distribution, legal records, packaging, and resource control.

Qualifications: High school education or GED equivalent.

Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology with ability to read and interpret physician prescriptions/orders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. One to two years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.

License or Certification: Arizona Pharmacy Technician license with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT credential (or) Arizona Pharmacy Technician in Training License to achieve CPhT within 2 years.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $16.88 per hour.

Hours/Pay Period: as needed

Schedule Details: Must be able to work eight hour shifts between 2PM and 12 midnight

Schedule workdays will vary.

Weekend Schedule: Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
