About this job

this position is responsible for assisting the Accounting Team with most accounting processes. Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Processing and invoicing various shipments.
  • Preparing the associated payable for the AP process.
  • Enter order requests, coordinate with dispatch, and the appropriate vendor.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that arise.
  • Fill in for other positions as needed.
  • Other duties assigned by the Accounting Process Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Education/Experience:
    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
    • Three or more years data entry experience.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
    • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
    • Great attitude, excellent punctuality and attendance.
    • Must be self-motivated, capable of working independently and with others.
    • Strong organization and research skills.
    • Good Customer Service and Human Relations skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Strong oral/written and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to implement and drive efficient processes.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to perform repetitive motion and fine manipulation tasks for long intervals of time.
    • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
