Warehouse Picker/Packer - Full-time / Part-time

We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Warehouse Picker/Packer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Must have reliable transportation.

Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative (LFFC) is a nonprofit organic farmer's cooperative supplying fresh, healthy, locally sourced (organic) food to local and metropolitan communities. LFFC serves all Eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, and most of the Tri-State area by connecting the farmer and customer. Come join the LFFC team at our new location off of Rohrerstown and Running Pump Road in Lancaster, PA.

We a currently hiring part-time, and full-time seasonal (May through November) warehouse workers for our upcoming produce season.  We are looking for new members so we can build a strong reliable Co-op team. We are seeking to hire energetic, cooperative, and committed employees who enjoy helping others, and share a love for good, healthful food.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Grading produce
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,) a plus
• Ability to but not required to drive both forklift and electric pallet jack (Certification tests required through LFFC)
• Must be able to lift 60 + lbs
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work in a refrigerated (35-50 degree) and wet environment for extended periods of time
• Have strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work cooperatively with others
• Superior verbal communication skills
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours throughout the season.
• During peak season have the ability to work a flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs
