We invite you to participate in something truly unique and special as we plan the opening of a new restaurant and bar concept. Montage Beverly Hills has partnered with acclaimed chef Geoffrey Zakarian to introduce Georgie which will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner along with The Garden Bar, a sophisticated yet relaxed lounge with a robust cocktail program and all day fare, both scheduled to open in June 2016. 

SUMMARY

This position will provide the highest quality to service to our guest. Job duties include but are not limited to: provide all guests with highly personalized service adhering to all Montage service standards. Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests. Clearing tables during service. Control guest checks and secure proper payment. Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor and Manager. Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment. Assist all other associates in ensuring they are providing the highest level of customer service and have full knowledge of F&B menus and offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• High school or equivalent education required.


• Be able to communicate clearly and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.


• Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation and handling.


• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.


• Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance. 


• Food Handlers Certificate required


• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to carry and balance dishware and glassware in the course of service. Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
