Salata is the Next Generation Salad Bar and we are looking for our Next Generation Manager in the Clear Lake Area - 77058!!!

Salata allows you to create your tossed-to-order, fresh salad or salad wrap by choosing from a variety of fresh lettuces, vegetables, fruits, nuts, cheeses, dressings, and the protein of your choice – all in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) setup. General Manager

Salata General Managers are chefs, bankers, trainers, schedulers, administrators and leaders. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position, ensuring guests are happy and that the restaurant is humming! They motivate and lead by example, the store manager executes all tasks.

Responsibilities Include:

• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Naturally keeps a high-energy and outgoing environment.
• Possess a positive and upbeat attitude with staff and guests at all times.
• Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.
• Must have open availability; willing to work nights, weekends and Holidays. You’re the first layer of required coverage for store shifts in case of emergency or call-outs.
• Resolves employee issues including shift call-outs according to company policy.
• Generates weekly schedule to control labor cost.
• Collects and accounts for all money transactions on a daily basis. Coordinates bank deposits, daily invoicing and all other paperwork.
• Reviews employment applications, recruits, interviews, hires and trains all new employees.
• Recommends the promotion and/or termination of employees.
• Conducts written and verbal staff evaluations and write ups.
• Coordinates all store food orders accurately and completely based on company goals.
• Observes all personnel at the beginning and throughout their shift for compliance with appearance and uniform policies, customer service expectations, quality control and company standards.
• Must be able to stand on feet for prolonged periods of time, up to 10-12 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Any and all other duties assigned or requested.

Required Management Criteria:

Aside from possessing excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership and communication skills the following will be required:

1. Minimum of two (2) years restaurant management experience.

2. Tenure - Candidate must have no more than two (2) jobs in the last five (5) years.
