About this job
This position will focus primary efforts on events during Stir Concert Season but will also focus on Casino and Marketing Events throughout the year.
* Enhance guest interaction and support the Stir Concert Cove events, Whiskey Roadhouse Events and other special event and promotional programs as needed.
* Duties and number of Special Event Agent positions will be determined for each event and a sign up sheet distributed.
* Uniform requirements will vary and will be defined and communicated for each event depending on location (outdoor, indoor), position, duties and season.
* Acknowledge, greet and converse in English with guests.
* Dress in appropriate uniform as defined for each event/venue, occasionally, a costume may be used and will be communicated with the event sign up information.
* Answer guest questions and direct their requests to the appropriate individuals.
* Hosts receptions, events and other promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications:
* Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy working with the public.
* Must have a good speaking voice and the ability to improvise and be a quick thinker.
* Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
* Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
* Must present a well-groomed appearance, and meet all requirements of company/property appearance standards.
* Must be able to work independently and with little supervision.
* Must be able to maneuver throughout event, casino and hotel areas.
* Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist and balance when performing in front of or interacting with guests.
* Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate props or presenting customers with gifts/prizes.
* Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
* Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights, and varying temperatures
* Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
