Sr Process Automation Analyst - Macro Guru - Full-time / Part-time

Retail moves quickly and we must too. Use your coding skills, experience and talents to identify and solve for opportunities to automate processes in order to drive efficiency, scale, segmentation, accuracy and improved business results.

SPECIFIC TO THIS ROLE:

• Create, support, and govern the VBA macro's/automations that MP uses to run the business
• Use VB Scripts, MS Access, and Excel to build and maintain macro's/automations and applications
• Create new programming functions and techniques to enhance the team's applications
• Work directly with MP and MP OPs teams to identify opportunities to work more efficiently through developing VBA (or other) based applications, bridging the gap between needs and current capabilities
• Work directly with Technical Product teams to develop integration plans and inform the design for future systems and system enhancements
• Work with Technical Product teams to proactively understand updates to existing applications that will impact automations being used
• Manage and Govern existing VBA automation tools to ensure stability, accessibility, and accuracy

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent technology skills including VBA experience, Excel, Access, and SQL
• Sound object oriented programming skills and good coding habits.
• Strong process management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem solving skills, detail oriented
• Familiarity with DB2, eDW, EDW Target databases a preference
• Computer Science degree desired
• Two (2)+ years experience with VBA programming in developing automations, end-user applications, and/or user-interface
• Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
