Automation Personnel is seeking a full-time Assistant Fashion Designer for a client in New York City. Our client has been known for its versatile collections catered to the busy woman looking to balance style and functionality. They strive to create garments that flawlessly transition from day to night, for many years to come.

Do you consider yourself:
A fashion designer who is goal oriented and can balance multiple priorities in a fast pace environment?

An individual with great understanding of big picture objectives and how to bring those things to life through accurate follow through?

A fashion trend translator and understand the reason behind them?

If so, as an Assistant Fashion Designer for our client, you will be responsible for making their high-end women's fashion collection a reality. Accuracy and efficiency are a must and multi-tasking is essential!

Responsibilities:
Develop an expert knowledge regarding women's apparel by researching current trends and style through online and marketplace research.
Translate research into conceptual and runway ideas to wearable fashion and provide multiple options to support single ideas.
Seek creative solutions when spec-ing garments/tech pack executions.
Support, maintain and update summary cads, OneDrive and Dropbox.
Assist designers finishing CADs using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or Fine Arts
1 plus years related experience in the apparel industry
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office/Excel
Background and Drug screen Required
