Cashier - Full-time / Part-time

Basic Job Function:

Deliver quality customer service while ensuring correct handling of policy and procedures as well as accurate monetary transactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Skill in communication with public
• Math Skills
• Ability to follow instruction and give attention to detail
• Skill of operating a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Provides customer service through the courteous, accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases.
• Adhere to all cash policies to minimize cash loss.
• Learn codes for produce
• Redeem and sell gift cards
• Familiar with the products in each department
• Maintain clean and orderly check out areas.
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time
• Lifting loads of up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to read and write the English language, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
