PACKAGE HANDLER ASSOCIATE
SUMMARY:
One of the largest Internet-based retailer in the United States is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill part-time associate positions in Lenexa KS. The hours are convenient and the shifts are flexible. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and is focused on quality, safety and productivity.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to take direction in English, and read both written and numerical verbiage.
- Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 4-5 hours.
- Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and must be able to work on call and weekends.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug test and must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unload and load trucks by hand
- Scan parcels
- Induct parcels onto sorter by size
- Lift, push, and stack parcels
- Wrap, label, and move skids
- Process packages and create mailing containers
- Sort packages to correct location according to label, load chart or scanner
- Perform other duties as assigned
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE 1st and 2nd shift available 6 days a week $10.00 an hour
