Brand Manager, Mott’s & Penafiel Content

A DPSG Brand Manager, Content leads development of short and long term branded content and creative strategy on two critical DPSG portfolio brands – Mott’s & Penafiel. The role is responsible for leading and inspiring multiple creative agencies, along with Brand Director and brand team members to develop integrated creative platforms (Nat’l TV, Digital content, social and programmatic creative), providing strong strategic thought leadership, collaborating with cross functional teams including media, insights, activation and agencies, leading the creative development and production process and flawless budget management.

This manager position interacts daily with senior stakeholders and requires strategic capabilities, creative aptitude/creative eye, strong ability to influence, curiosity for overall content landscape, and exceptional collaboration are critical to the role. This position works closely with Brand and Media partners, media and creative agencies to drive integrated creative strategy and creative content that is measurable and impactful.

Position Responsibilities

1. Creative Development: Manage development of strategic and creative content. Manage workflow of daily project details and creative direction for overall consumer communication and optimal creative solutions. Collaborate with Brand and Cross functional teams to develop impactful content that integrates brand messaging across multiple consumer touch points – including integrated creative platforms, TV, OOH, digital banners, print, on-line video, mobile and social brand communications. Manage timelines to develop and meet content strategy requirements.

2. Agency Management: Work closely with agency partners to create impactful consumer messaging that tests well in copy testing, builds brand equity measures and drives the business. Drive integration across agencies to ensure messaging integration and efficient agency spend.

3. Budget Management: Own and actively manager brand content budget, cross-functional alignment and end-of-year budget performance. Coordinate with Finance to research and adjust inappropriate budget entries.

4. Creative Integration: Develop overarching creative platforms that can be integrated across all consumer touch points and across multiple screens. Develop digital strategy that ladder up to the overall brand strategy and master brief and include social persona, .com development and emerging platforms with benchmarks and measurements for success.

5. Analytics: Analyze market research, in-market results and digital metrics to assess performance and generate future improvements. Incorporate this learning into future program development to continue to raise the bar.

6. Insight: Translate insights into actionable consumer driven content plans that ladder into the broader DPSG Brand strategy.

7. Innovation: Bring thought leadership to the broader brand team through “test and learn scenarios” to evaluate opportunities within the digital and social space

Qualifications

· Must have MBA or related Master’s degree

· Fluent in Spanish

· 5 years of brand marketing/brand management experience

· 5 years of progressive consumer marketing experience

· 5 years of Hispanic brand marketing/ Hispanic brand content experience
