Sanitation - Full-time / Part-time

Title: Sanitation

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Summary: Responsible for plant sanitation including facilities, equipment, and grounds.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain sanitation in all production areas.

2. Break down all corrugated and dispose of all refuse during production.

3. Maintain daily drain cleaning program.

4. Maintain clean restrooms and break rooms.

5. Responsible for compacter area and coordinate dumpster p/u with Waste Management.

6. Maintain cleanliness of work area

7. Follow all plant safety and Good Manufacturing Practices

Required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.



Job Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Language Skills: Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly with Co-workers.

Experience: Food processing/ handling experience preferred.



Visual, auditory and hand dexterity. Full body mobility. Adequate reading/language, writing and math skills. Able to work in varied temperature environments (0-50 deg.). Good hand/eye coordination. Heavy lifting required, some over 50lbs. Continuous movement and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
