Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Dispatcher for our Technical Operations Department in Augusta, ME. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary:
Work with technical staff, other employees, and customers. Under supervision, the person will schedule, route and assign work orders in a timely manner.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
Essential Job Functions:
Schedule, route and assign work orders in a timely manner.
Prepares monthly departmental reports and submits to supervisor.
Promotes good customer relations through telephone contact within compliance of established company policies and procedures
May communicate pertinent information including customer service issues, outages, etc., to other systems
Inform supervisor as necessary.
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge/Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Computer experience required.
Knowledge of Icoms Billing System and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Customer service & workforce management experience preferred.
Human Relation Skills:
Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and professional manner with customers and other employees
Must be assertive, independent, and reflect confidence in others and deal diplomatically with hostile and pressure situations.
Other position considerations:
Occasional light lifting of approximately 20 pounds
Long periods of sitting and data entry
May be required to work various schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to effectively communicate in person, in writing, and on the telephone
Legal/Financial Responsibilities:
Requires adherence to Time Warner Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
