  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; 5+ years related experience, 2+ years supervisory/management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff. 
  • Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Requires high level computer expertise, including use of Internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. 
  • Flexible, innovative with ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment. 
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Responsible for managing DishOne’s overall Event Program
  • Manage DishOne’s event teams with strong leadership, direction, communication, and support
  • Set expectations and hold DishOne events team accountable for performance and as representatives of the DISH brand
  • Work with corporate national events team to analyze event opportunities and performance to develop the overall strategy to achieve activation targets
  • Liaison between DishOne, Corporate Marketing, Sales Channel Training and Indirect Sales Team for all event-related communication
  • Identify product training needs and work with Sales Channel Training on delivery
  • Primary contact for all event vendors and venues
  • Coordinate event logistics including but not limited to event contracts, booth location, display designs, set-up and tear down, and all other event need
  • Builds and maintains positive business relationships with both internal and external customers, including vendor partners
  • Continuously monitors and reports on performance and status of event schedule and events
  • Analysis of event sales results, KPIs and cost analysis
  • Identify areas of opportunity and implement changes to capitalize on these opportunities.
