Intermediate Landscaping Tech – FT Summer Seasonal – Northstar California

The intermediate maintenance tech is responsible for assisting in the landscaping and irrigation of the Village at Northstar California.

 Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintenance of Northstar irrigation system.
• Design and build of additional irrigated areas.
• Planting, thinning, pruning, mulching, weeding, watering, mowing, trimming and other gardening functions.
• Assisting with Northstar special events. 
• Responsible for working in a safe and precise manner while operating equipment and maintaining the landscaping. 

 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experiece working with irrigation
• Knowledge of irrigation valves, valve computers, PVC plumbing, drip systems, and irrigation design and build.
• Must have current valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Previous work experience in landscape or grounds maintenance capacity.
• Basic knowledge of plant species.
• Working knowledge of and ability to properly use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work well with others will benefit a person in this position.
• Must possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
