Collections Representative- Healthcare

Large Reputable Healthcare Company in the Miami, FL area is seeking 2 Healthcare Collections Representatives to join their team!

Qualifications:

• Over 2 years of recent Medical Collections experience
• Hands on experience with Medicare, Medicaid or Government collections
• Experience working in a high volume collections environment
• Hands on experience researching claims, working with denial procedures and collecting on commercial insurance

Job Description:

• Reviews Medicare accounts for necessary information required.
• Responds to technical help letters. Communicates with appropriate state agency as needed.
• Recommends and forwards uncollectible accounts to your supervisor or final review and assists department management as needed.
• Reviews Medicaid pending report on a regular basis and performs any necessary follow up.
• Prepares accurate billing and submits to the appropriate state Medicaid System using electronic claim submissions when possible.
