PART TIME CABINET ASSEMBLER - Part-time

ASSEMBLER PART TIME (2:30 - 8:00 PM)

ASSEMBLER FUNCTIONS:

Performs repetitive line assembly operations; assembles components into completed kitchen & bath cabinets by performing the following duties:

• Perform assembly-type functions to produce cabinets, using hand or power tools, in order to meet daily Production goals.


• Perform carpenter-related work.


• Operate any equipment needed to perform the job.


• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor or Production Lead.


• Performs preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required or as assigned.


• Complete daily tasks as directed by Production Supervisor or Production Lead.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong record of reliable attendance and punctuality.


• Reading and writing accurately


• Matching labels & orders accurately


• Must have Basic Math Skills


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong quality orientation, attention to detail and highly organized.


• Strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to use hand or power tools.


• Bilingual English/Spanish helpful, not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Ability to stand for long periods of time (approximately 90% of time on the job is spent standing up and walking around the warehouse).


• Frequently required to use both hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, controls or balance items.


• Ability to operate machinery and power tools


• Occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop/kneel/crouch, talk and hear.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

• Hours are 2:30 - 8:00 PM, Monday thru Friday


• Some overtime and weekends required when needed.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.


• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and  written or oral instructions.


• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


• Must have reliable method of transportation to/from our location in Levittown PA (public transportation is limited).
