Production Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Confer with management to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and costs controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered and shipped.
*Plan and direct production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
*Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operation reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems.
*Develop and implement standard operating methods and procedures including safety practices designed to eliminate operating problems, improve product quality, and minimize employee health and safety issues.
*Revise production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problem.
*Consult with Engineering and Maintenance personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
*Ensure all manning levels are in line with budget.
*Create a training process and program for employees and contractors.
*Supervise assigned staff.
*Maintain a safe and clean plant.
