Environmental Field Scientist - Full-time / Part-time

A growing, mid-sized environmental consulting firm in Indianapolis has an immediate opening for an Environmental Field Technician.

This individual will work on an environmental field crew and conduct environmental monitoring at various sites throughout Indiana. Theses sites are primarily water/storm water/wastewater utilities that need to be monitored for environmental compliance. The project is anticipated to last 6 months with the opportunity of permanent after that time.

Major job duties include:

* Installation and maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment at monitoring sites
* Maintain safe working environment at field site
* Collection of environmental monitoring data from field systems
* Performing other related duties as required

Job requirements and qualifications:

* 1+ year experience working in the environmental compliance field (internships are considered toward this experience)
* HS diploma is required and BS degree in environmental science or related field is preferred
* Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is required

This is a 1st shift position and overtime may be required.
