Maintenance Engineer - Full-time

We have a full-time opening for a Maintenance Engineer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

What you will be doing

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment as assigned.  He/she is also responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned.  He/she is also responsible for performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred


• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, motors and pumps is required


• Pool maintenance and pump room experience is a plus


• High School diploma or equivalent required


• Must have strong customer service skills


• Able to work different shifts, weekends and/or holidays

Physical requirements:

• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.


• Ability to stand during entire shift. Long hours sometimes required.
