The Time Warner Cable Carolina region currently seeks a Business Intelligence Developer for our Marketing & Sales Department in West Columbia, SC. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary
The purpose of this position is design, develop, and implement complex database systems, tools, and applications to bring crucial analytics to business solutions and organizations. In this role the individual will be responsible for managing data and the architecture of the databases. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employee may also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the supervisor and other management as required. Essential Job Functions:
Maintain accurate business intelligence, which equals competitive advantage in the marketplace Build and Integrate websites, web applications, web services for both intranet and internet users Design, develop, and implement complex database systems, tools, and applications Solve real-world business problems by designing and building Online Analytical processing (OLAP) cubes, applying data mining algorithms, writing queries, and designing reports Responsibilities range from aggregating data from multiple sources in an efficient data warehouse to designing enterprise-level solutions for large multidimensional databases Responsible for the design and plan of business intelligence solutions Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot database queries Serve as Microsoft SQL subject matter expert with responsibilities that may include supporting and securing crucial information systems and providing reliable data which may be used in business – specific software solutions Job Requirements:

Knowledge of specific subject areas which make performance of the job possible (In all sections of requirements, please list requirements first and preferences last)

Must have strong knowledge/skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2012

Must have strong knowledge/skills in Visual Studio Pro

SQL Server Management Studio (three years or more experience).

Must be comfortable working with SQL Server, SQL

Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL

Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Possess an understanding of technology trends and have the ability to use that knowledge to bring solutions to business units to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge Possess expertise in relational and multidimensional database schemas

Must bring crucial analytics to business solutions and organization

Specialty in writing queries and stored procedures, using data modeling tools, designing and optimizing databases, implementing at the physical level

Possess thorough understanding of relational database

Highly-skilled at writing coding within an integrated development that helps to track bugs, optimize code for Windows operating systems and subsystem to specifications or designing entire solutions

Work collaboratively with other developers

Flexibility and adaptability to shifting users’ needs and business requirements Ability to connect systems quickly and efficiently with secure desktop applications

Knowledge of ASP or ASPNET for server- side development

Knowledge of VBScript, Microsoft Visual#, or similar application for data intensive client-side programming Write functional and design specifications for Web applications Design desktop applications and related tools, subsystems, and interfaces

Develop and implement test plan and release updates for applications as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Education and Experience:

Bachelor ' s degree (B A) from four-year college or university or equivalent work experience four years or more Business Intelligence related experience.
