Contruction Foreman

Centerline is looking for a highly self motivated person that has the ability to multitask and stay focused at all times.

- Scheduling of all subcontractors, delivery dates for materials and crane services needed.

- Supervise the work of laborers and subcontractors at several home sites in several different communities.

- Inspect subcontractors work for quality standards.

- Ensure that all building codes and Centerline Builders standards are met. Resolve quality issues as they arise.

- Communicate safety standards to laborers and subcontractors; Enforces safety regulations on all job sites.

- Interact daily with various parts of the company, subcontractors and city inspectors.

- Company truck, fuel and cell phone provided for by Centerline Builders.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Course work or degree in construction management preferred.

- Knowledge of home building and construction systems/processes and building codes.

- Must be able to read blue prints to maintain quality control and inspect all aspects of framing and siding.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Knowledge and use of wide range of hand and power tools.

- Ability to explain complex issues to others in a manner easily understood by laborers and subcontractors.

- Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills, ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations.

- A high degree of professionalism, tact and ability to influence others.

- Ability to prioritize projects, work against deadlines and organize work flow with multiple interruptions. A huge emphasis on multiple interruptions.

- Sound judgment and ability to make decisions. Work and act independently, and seek assistance or consult with more senior foreman when necessary.

- Ability to operate an automobile, have valid state drivers license.
