Universal Orlando Rental Services Attendants ensure our guests will be ready to roll by preparing strollers, wheelchairs and ECV’s for rent. A Rental Services Attendant keeps track of our wheels by maintaining logs of all park rentals and returns.
Rental Services Attendants at Universal Orlando are responsible for:
Greeting and interacting positively with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Keeping the strollers, wheelchairs and ECV’s charged, inspected, cleaned and properly stored.
Informing management of any repair needs.
Handling cash, charge slips and cash register operation.
Maintaining clean and orderly work area.
Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
Performing other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of a Rental Services Attendant successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Consistent attendance and punctuality is a job requirement.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Operations and guest services experience preferred. Cash handling experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Rental Services Attendant job.
Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) talk or hear.
Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) stand, sit; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) walk, use hands and fingers to, handle or feel objects, tool or controls, reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).

Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) be exposed to working near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions
