Accounting Specialist

Greater Nevada Credit Union is excited to announce an opportunity for an Accounting Specialist with a specific focus in processing payroll.

• Accurate and efficient processing of payroll through a third party
• Follow established procedures and perform assignments efficiently in accordance with application state and federal law
• General ledger balancing, general ledger journal entry posting, mortgage processing and other miscellaneous accounting functions
• Provide backup as necessary in other accounting area

• Experience processing payroll
• Previous account reconciliation experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
