Aerotek is currently seeking an Events Manager for a client that is based in Jacksonville, FL. This Events Manager will be responsible for the strategy, management, and successful execution of Marketing and Events. The events range from shows, sales meetings, retailer, and educational functions.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in Event Management or similar role
  • Must have experience in marketing/events in the Beauty Industry
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs
  • Ability to travel 50% of the year
  • Certified Event Planner is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop yearly show/event strategy
  • Lead the coordination of all shows/events
  • Coordinate large scale industry events
  • Generate and process all invoices related to shows/events
  • Manage the budget for each show/event
  • Coordinate and manage all graphics needed for events/shows
  • Maintain open communication regarding show/events
  • Plan pre and post show/event meeting with education, marketing, sales, and senior management clearly show objectives, key learning's, etc
  • Responsible for coordination of air travel, ground transportation, and lounging for event staff

Pay $42,000 - 52,000 per year (based upon experience)

This position does not require you to relocate, but you must be open to traveling 50+% of the time and traveling to Jacksonville, FL for business meetings.
