Maintenance Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is currently in need of a maintenance manager. The current manager has recently been promoted which has opened up this position. The facility is 2.5 million sq ft and they are about to add an additional 1 million sq ft of warehouse space.

The right candidate for the Maintenance Manager role will be a hands on leader who will play a critical role supporting our operations and engineering directors. You will need to be a team player that loves to drive innovation and excellence.

Key Functions:

Participates in objective setting, plan development and performance review of plant supervisors.

Initiates, implements, and manages the maintenance program.

Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes.

Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated.

Supervises operating and training manuals.

Monitors and reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.

Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures for the maintenance department

This individual will be over a team of 11 techs. They are currently running 1st shift and part of 2nd shift however looking to add a 3rd shift.

Hours are M-F 1st shift but must be open to nights and weekends when needed. They currently do not work Sundays.

The individual also needs to have experience in maintaining a budget ($1-2 mil in expenses), capital projects, scheduling, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

The types of equipment they will be working with will be 480v, conveyors, chop saws, AB and Siemens plcs, nesting, Heian machines, laminate machines, fabrication, and router cutting.
