Position Summary:

Time Warner Cable currently seeks a
Solutions Analyst specializing in Fault and Performance management analysis and strategy for
the OSS organization. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
This role requires a pro-active and results-driven individual. The individual chosen for this role must be able to identify and determine appropriate priority for enhancements that directly contribute to the success of TWC


Act as the liaison with lines of business and operational unit leaders and user groups
to
clarify, validate and
prioritize requests for the Network Operations Centers in Fault and Performance management.
Perform in-depth analysis of fault and performance event data and provide guidance and strategy for automation efforts.
Lead assessment and definition of architecture project strategies in collaboration with OSSD architecture and development.
Lead definition of software development artifacts and life cycle required to develop, validate and deploy projects.
Organize and chair regularly scheduled meetings with the NOC’s and other operational unit leaders
Support executive reporting and continuous improvement of fault and performance data and automation success

Required Qualifications:


4 to 6 years Telecommunications, Internet or computer industry experience required.
Strong technical knowledge of cable industry applications and services is highly desired.
Previous extensive experience with Netcool, Spectrum and vendor EMS’s is required.
Working knowledge of commercial services operation including service, installation and construction preferred.
Relevant experience delivering facilities based telecommunications services preferred.
Expert knowledge of fault and performance management lifecycle.
Knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture.
Knowledge of software development and OSS functions including service assurance
Strong Conceptual Thinking – ability to draw from experience and theory; be action oriented and ability to keep the customer the primary focus.
Solid project management skills. Ability to manage and track multiple tasks simultaneously
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing work environment.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Projects a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, employees, and the Company.
Ability to be neat with self and conduct self in a respectable, responsible, courteous manner required.
