If you are interested in food and like being part of a team, this job could be ideal for you.
As a kitchen assistant you are effectively the engine room of the kitchen. Working under the guidance of the kitchen manager, your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational. Your job involves washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately, disposing of rubbish, cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools and areas, following strict hygiene, health and safety rules.
Qualifications are the ability to carry out tasks quickly and competently and follow instructions. You will also need to use your initiative and be able to work in a team.
