Do you live and breathe skiing or snowboarding?  Are you go-getter that is passionate about wanting others to give skiing/snowboarding a try?  If so then you may be a perfect fit for our team.  We’re hiring a full-time Marketing Senior Coordinator that will assist with a wide range of responsibilities covering several social media, web content and event-related functions.  The position requires extensive project management and organization, multi-tasking and interpersonal relationship building skills. 

Digital and Social Media

• Support Mt. Brighton’s social media strategy and implementation of all social media efforts using the latest tools and sites.  Execute day-to-day social media strategies and postings.  Track effectiveness of social media efforts
• Content development for bi-weekly email newsletter
• Work with Marketing Manager to incorporate all marketing strategies and initiatives/programs through all appropriate online marketing resources
• Responsible for daily snow conditions reporting, ensuring all snow reports are accurate, timely, authentic and professional

Events

• Assisting with on-site event planning, set-up, branding, tear-down and other venue logistics
• Oversee Mt. Brighton’s participation in off-site events

Day to day

• Develop strong working relationships with external vendors and other Mt. Brighton/Vail Resorts teams
• Positive attitude/desire to provide top-notch guest service internally and externally
• Well-organized and strong follow through
• Administrative, complete miscellaneous errands as needed and other duties as assigned
• Provide support and coordination of the advertising creative development process, production and trafficking of various marketing and branding projects

Must be open to helping out wherever needed no matter the task.  Mt. Brighton is a team environment where everyone “wears many hats”.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES

• Passionate about skiing/snowboarding  (able to ski or ride at an intermediate level or above - Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Multimedia, Communications or a related field (preferred)
• Self-motivated “go-getter”
• Willing to work weekends and evenings for special projects or big events
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, plus 2 years’ experience with a proven track record of success (preferred)
• Creative minded
• Responsible
• Strong project management experience, ability to take projects from idea to execution with minimal supervision
• Comfortable in an extremely fast paced multi-tasking environment, able to switch gears and participate in several different projects simultaneously
• Flawless proofreading
• Capable of successful inter-department communication, both within Mt. Brighton and the overall Vail Resorts organization
• Ability to demonstrate passion for learning, desire to learn and grow within the company, over-deliver on tasks and pitch in and assist on any project or initiative to deliver experiences of a lifetime for our guests
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, (Adobe Creative Suite Preferred)
