Retail Sales Associate

Sears Hometown Store in Placerville, individually owned and operated. We are looking for an experienced Sales Person with a positive attitude to join our Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

• Must demonstrate a customer first perspective and fully participate in the company selling culture.
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Motivated to drive sales volume through active involvement with customers on the sales floor and by phone.
• Fully contribute to store sales goals.
• Participate in learning and development activities and all training provided, so that customers can be better served.
• Work a variety of day/evening and weekend shifts as needed, broad availability.
• Work during extended store hours, holidays, and special events.
• When not with customers, ensure that the store is clean and organized, all product is stocked and displayed according to plan and all store signage is in order.
• Able to use a cash register and perform sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established cash control procedures.
• Have excellent communication, organizational and math skills along with the ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Great attention to detail.
• Have reliable transportation; be punctual and ready to begin work at the start of the scheduled shift.
• Follow management direction in completing other duties as required.
• Professional dress and attitude.
