Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for creating desired functionality to assigned content, products or services in ecommerce.
• Develops, tests and implements software that provides robust technical infrastructure and/or software applications used by business units.
• Develops and may lead applications development and the underlying framework.
• Collaborates and may lead application designs.
• May lead, implements, tests and delivers new features for multiple platforms.
• Coordinates with QA team to initiate testing and ensure testing is completed.
• Design framework and software standards and make suggestions for systems / software improvements.
• Evaluate and improves application development process.
• Oversee work of others to ensure code quality.
• Telecommuting permitted.

QUALIFICATIONSrequired

• Bachelor or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  
• 5 years progressive experience as Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, Technical Associate or related occupation.
  
• Must have prior work experience in the following:

1. SQL, Modeling and DB
2. Database: MySQL, Cassandra
3. Application servers: Apache Tomcat
4. Caching technologies: Memcache, Akamai
5. Agile methodologies: Scrum
6. Application design and testing: Jquery, HTML5, Javascript, and CSS
7. Telecommuting permitted
