Busser/Food Runner

Job Description:
To perform a combination of duties in an efficient, quiet and effective manner, which facilitates food service and provides a positive impression for the guests

Typical Work Conditions:
Restaurant and other outlets

Equipment Used:
Trays, buckets, dishes, flatware, glassware, wine buckets, linens, chafing dishes, sternos, serving utensils

Knowledge/Training:

• Fluent English, read and write necessary
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multi-task

Essential Tasks:

• Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
• Replace soiled table linens
• Set tables with silverware and glassware
• Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining room
• Replenishes ice water to patrons
• Helps maintain the cleanliness of the dining area and equipment
• Stocks buffet
• Replenish/break down buffet

• All personnel are subject to work in other areas of the hotel in positions not previously listed in your job description as needed.
• All personnel are expected to work their scheduled days and shifts. Employees are also expected to be able to perform their essential duties with or without any reasonable accommodations.
• Poor attendance and job performance are grounds for immediate termination.
