PRIDESTAFF FINANCIAL IS LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING CLERK FOR A CLIENT IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA

SUMMARY

Provides support to the Accounting Department by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist with the month end close and financial analysis.
  • Assist with internal audit procedures.
  • Scan processed checks to the bank on a daily basis.
  • Process and apply store cash bags and credit card receipts.
  • Support administrative needs of the department.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
  • Ability to learn, interpret, and apply to specific cases the provisions of laws and rules, or regulations enforced or administered; deal with people tactfully; prepare reports; analyze situations accurately and take effective action.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean DMV report.

COMPENSATION

$16 - $21/hr depending upon experience. Excellent Company paid benefits. Company paid life insurance, 401(k), and Profit Sharing Plan. Paid vacation and holidays.
