Guest Assistance/Security- Crowne Plaza

The Crowne Plaza hotel Downtown Columbus is seeking a reliable and service minded individual to serve as PART TIME Guest Assistance and Security Associate. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal guest satisfaction and safety at the property during third shift hours.(between 11:00 pm to 7:00 am). This position will work two days a week plus any additional days as needed to cover scheduling needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily rounds of property.
• Deliver newspapers and guest folios and pick up room service cards.
• Closes and open swimming pool daily.
• Investigates noise complaints, assists with any medical emergency calls and assists with guest safety and security issues.
• Understands the Key Watcher system, security camera system, Onity key system, and all life safety systems.
• Calmly takes control in emergency situations to ensure all protocols are followed in a safe and organized manner.
• Has building/equipment familiarity, oversees loss prevention programs, and completes required daily security reports.
• Assists Night Audit Team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Position requires candidate to be on their feet for entirety of an 8 hour shift.
• Must have a valid Ohio Drivers License in good standing.  
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent communication skills are required. 

• Must have previous customer service experience.  
• Previous Security experience preferred
