Lab Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Our Client, a manufacturer of animal antibiotics for the agriculture industry. They are seeking to hire a Lab Assistant to their team. The company is producing pellets that are added to the food of large animals such as Cattle, Pig, and horses. The company is regulated by the FDA and the USDA.

Job Description:

• Document Control
• Record keeping of 7 years of samples and company history
• Sample and handle raw materials, inactive and active
• Keep track of all annual testing and logging in appropriate log book
• Update and maintain all SOPs for production and laboratory
• Some basic lab testing is required that will be on the job training

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform duties under strict guidelines and regulations
