Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Machine Assembler/Press Operators, Panel Bender I, II and III

1. Inspects and uses parts he/she has identified as correct for the model being produced.
2. May use drawings or other instructions to assure correct assembly.
3. Uses hand and/or power tools to assemble various components. May use jigs, also.
4. May use various compounds, tapes, and foams to seal joints in some units.
5. May have responsibility for cleaning assemblies or sub-assemblies.
6. Inspects finished work for acceptability before passing to next station. May do first piece
inspection. May have to apply various labels at some stations.
7. May box units and apply model identification and serial number labels.
8. May have some minor P.M. assignments

QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Competencies):

• Good hand-eye coordination and speed; good comprehension skills; ability to lift 20~30 pounds infrequently; ability to understand and follow instructions without continuous prompts.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Background Check are conducted on all candidates, so please complete application carefully and accurately.
• Drug Testing
• Job-related experience in a manufacturing / industrial / warehousing / forklift/ or distribution environment preferred
