MO MENTOR is seeking a highly motivated individual willing to provide leadership and support in a continuous quality improvement environment which provides support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as children with emotional, behavior and/or medical needs.
The person selected for the role of Quality Improvement Specialist will be responsible for implementing MO MENTOR’s quality systems; and for ensuring implementation of company policies and state regulations under the direction of a QI Manager. The Quality Improvement Specialist conducts internal reviews of program operations, reviews incidents, conducts internal investigations, manages and reviews quality improvement data systems, monitors compliance with internal and external requirements, and implements training. The Quality Improvement Specialist uses their expertise with local operations to ensure best practices are implemented. areas .
This is a statewide position with offices located in Columbia, St. Louis, Kansas City and surrounding areas. Travel to program locations and some overnight travel is required with this position.
· Job Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in quality improvement or other related social services field required.
