Hourly Associates - Full-time / Part-time

Experienced sandwich makers, preparation team members, baristas, cashiers, and salad makers make up the backbone of the productive and efficient team our customers have come to love.

Our hourly Associates fulfill a wide variety of roles throughout our bakery-cafes: interacting with our guests, performing daily routine procedures, and preparing our award-winning food.

Required skills and experience

Our Associates are 14 or older, have a positive attitude and professional appearance, have a willingness to learn, and understand that quality and efficiency are vitally important. Pre-employment background check required.

Associate Dress Code

Polo style collared shirt with sleeves in a solid color; clean, pressed, buttoned and tucked in.  No logos other than Panera Bread.  A plain white t-shirt may be worn under the uniform shirt. A black t-shirt may be also worn instead of the polo style shirt. Once again, make sure it's clean and has no holes.

Jeans or Docker-style khaki pants or shorts (no more than 2 inches above the knee); they need to  be clean and pressed.  No cutoffs or gym shorts. Jeans cannot be distressed. No holes, rips or tears (even if they were designed that way)!

A black or brown belt is required (traditional style)

A hat, apron and name tag will be provided by Panera Bread.

Clean athletic shoe, or other flat shoe, which covers the entire foot and has a non-slip sole with socks.

Facial hair kept neat, clean and trimmed close to the face.

Long hair pulled back and away from the face.

No loose or dangling jewelry. One watch or fitting bracelet is permitted per wrist.

Natural tone hair colors only.

Fingernails:  For health and safety reasons, fingernails must be kept neat and trimmed to a length no longer than ½ inch beyond the tip of the finger.  No nail polish.

You must clean smell/odor free at all times.  No body odor, smoke, or excessive perfume/cologne is permitted.

Our Associates receive a wage of $9.00 for Part Time ($9.25 at Jordan Creek) and $10.00 for Full Time as hourly associates.

 

Our schedules are flexible with no late night hours.  Each employee receives a food discount of 50% during working hours.

 

We have on-the-job training

 

In addition, full-time Associates who work 38+ hours per week receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical and dental insurance, flexible spending account, 401(k), and paid vacation.

 

We work around many high school and college school schedules.
