Job Description
Position Summary: Develops and implements all asset protection programs, shortage control, unit system accuracy programs and assists with risk management programs in assigned distribution facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages the hiring, training and retaining programs of the Loss Prevention staff for assigned distribution center.
  • Implements and maintains shortage control in flow through inventory through the management and reporting of compliance auditing, review of operational trends and unit system accuracy.
  • Implements and maintains auditing program to measure unit accuracy, shortage control, operational processing and vendor accuracy violations. Identifies unfavorable or non-compliant trends to building management and inventory control and provides strategic recommendations on corrective action.
  • Responsible for the physical inventory process in a given distribution center. In addition, responsible for the 10 month DC cycle inventory process for associated DC stores.
  • Manages the flow of inbound and outbound trailers through efficient and accurate gatehouse operations. Direct partnership with contracted fleet carriers on movement of inventory from Vendor to Distribution Center and Distribution Center to Retail-serviced Stores.
  • Oversees the flow of processed outbound and RTV Fine Jewelry to ensure unit accuracy and manifesting compliance. Investigates reported discrepancies and recommends inventory adjustments and operational changes to impact accuracy.
  • Provides physical control of $60 million facility to include inventory, entrance and egress servicing of all building Associates, fire suppression systems, burglar alarms, emergency equipment and perimeter security for transportation equipment.
  • Supports Risk Management initiatives through active participation in Safety Committees, creating documentation of identified unsafe acts by Distribution Center Associates and reviews accident investigations and trends; provides meaningful solutions to reduce frequency.
  • Assists District, Store and Corporate personnel in issue resolution related to merchandise verification, manifesting accuracy and delivery of inventory.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by the Senior Loss Prevention Manager.
  • Monitors/audits DC to store transit of merchandise.
  • Monitors all verification variance and manifesting in-transit reports to ensure inventory integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Multiple years experience in Distribution Center or Store Loss Prevention management.
  • Advanced degree.
