Chemical Operator Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mix and create chemicals based on orders.
- Responsible for flow of materials, including inspection of compounding area.
- Work with pumps, hoses, reactors and other equipment to make products.
- Support training and education within your area.
- Exhibit initiative and accountability for your area.
Chemical Operator Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years' experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, work with minimal direction and handle conflict in a positive manner.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with multiple departments, including Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations.
- Fork lift certification is a plus.
