Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on all machinery and requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to solve problems in a safe work environment. This position will lead a maintenance team, working closely with team members to solve machine issues, while keeping operations management appraised of in progress projects that may impact equipment capability and production timelines.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of Mechanics , and Electro-Mechanical Technicians to maximize productivity.
  2. Train and coach maintenance personnel to develop skill set.
  3. Identify and share best practices throughout the maintenance department.
  4. Identify and develop improvement opportunities to increase equipment capability and/or uptime.
  5. Implement and evolve Preventative Maintenance program.
  6. Analyze Preventative Maintenance data and modify program based on data.
  7. Aid in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
  8. Prioritize work requests based on preventive maintenance and downtime data.
  9. Analyze equipment manuals and translate that data into meaningful Preventative Maintenance schedules.
  10. Monitor and evaluate all equipment systems for the manufacturing group and make necessary changes for continuous production improvements including but not limited to the modifying and upgrading of equipment.
  11. Drive root cause analysis to maximize equipment availability. (though this is somewhat covered by #4)
  12. Drive and adhere to 5S guidelines within all maintenance areas.
  13. Utilize SAP, EAM preventive maintenance program to maintain equipment histories, repair records, frequency needs and resource library.
  14. Total Productive Maintenance responsibilities will include the creation of Centerline Sheets, team driven machine improvement activities, development of Clean, Inspect, Lubricate, procedures, etc.
  15. Lead and/or support Capital Project Improvement initiatives.

Skills



· Experience with Ammonia Systems

· Project Management Experience

· Background in Engineering

· Experience in the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Petroleum industry.

Qualifications

· Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university, or a high school diploma and 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance lead or supervisor.

· 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance lead or supervisor
