PRIDESTAFF FINANCIAL IS LOOKING FOR A

BANK LOAN CREDIT ANALYST

FOR A CLIENT IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA

Summary

Under supervision, provide support services to the lending staff. Provide a high level of consistency of method applied to the analysis and interpretation of financial information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following although other duties may be assigned: Spread financial statements, tax returns, & other financial data in a consistent and meaningful manner. Provide interpretation of financial condition of applicants, borrowers and guarantors.

Analyze financial information, including trends, ratios and cash flows. Assist in the preparation of Loan Credit Requests for loan officers.

Contact borrowers or their agents with regard to loan applications and or financial information. Research and verify financial information provided by borrowers or their agents.

Track Covenant Compliance & upon request of Loan Officers contact borrowers or their agents to obtain financial information required by the loan covenants & to ask questions regarding such information.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

Review & approve in-house applications pertaining to Consumer and Small Business Credit Scored (SBCS) loan requests.

Servicing of existing loan portfolio within the commercial loan program for small balance transactions. Assist the Credit Services Manager with special projects & other tasks as assigned.

Comply with all applicable banking compliance rules & regulations established by both internal departments & external agencies.

Respond to customer inquiries to the Bank’s Lending Center.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of two semesters of college-level accounting classes required. Degree from a four-year College or University preferred. Three years experience in credit related fields. Knowledge of credit policy & procedures & loan compliance. Experience & understanding of the differences between cash, accrual & tax accounting. Attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Credit Quest software experience a plus.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or comparable Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word or comparable Word Processing software. Additionally, experience with Credit Quest software is a plus.

COMPENSATION

$40,000 - $85,000/yr depending upon experience. Vacation starting at 2 weeks. Full benefits (medical, vision, dental). Profit sharing and opportunity to purchase company stock at a discounted rate.
