Client is looking for an Inventory Specialist!

Position Summary: Confirming Purchase Order acknowledgements from vendors, mating PO’s to packing slips and reconciling for discrepancies or missing PO’s, investigating discrepancies from suppliers, preparing, conducting and maintaining cycle count audits and records, investigating inventory shortages and discrepancies, processing and managing claims with vendors, entering and maintaining new and old inventory parts, units of measure, lead-times, and pricing, reporting findings and supporting the Purchasing Manager in developing best practices and solutions to inventory management issues.

Position Requirements: 1-3 years of Inventory Control. Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Proven ability to use basic mathematical skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with our without reasonable assistance Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, kneel, bend and reach. Proactive approach to the position to discover what is wrong and report as needed.

Position Desires: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and identify areas of opportunity (Mfg., Accounting, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering.). Inventory Systems experience; using ERP systems. Prior cycle counting/inventory experience in a production company
