Must have:
- 5+ years inspecting pipeline or heavy industrial construction projects.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to record data using word and Excel
- 5+ years of experience following safety procedures.

- Provide excavation oversight by monitoring the contractor's excavation process to ensure that all SOP for safety are practiced.
- Verify dig sheet information and pipeline location
- Review alignments sheets and other sources of information to identify foreign facilities, valves and other equipment attached to pipe.
- Adhere to approved construction drawings and company specifications
- Get familiar with industry and regulatory codes
- Get familiar with pre-job safety requiements, monitors, and enforce these throughout the process.
- Work closely with Spectra Energy Operations Standby Coordinator to ensure safety and construction is being monitored.
- Monitor, assess, and report on backfill materials, depth requirements, compaction requirements, and rock shield.
