Concrete Finisher - Full-time / Part-time

Concrete Finishers are responsible for smoothing out and finishing surfaces of poured concrete. These surfaces could be things such as sidewalks, floors, roads, or curbs. Most often, these finishers will be working at Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive supplier facilities. The projects they could be working on could be renovations or new construction.

Duties:
- Setting forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth for alignment.
- Checking the forms to make sure that they're holding the concrete to ensure proper construction.
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, or power screeds.
- To produce a rough finish, they'd use a broom.
- Clean chipped areas using a wire brush.
- Feel and observe surfaces to determine if it is rough or uneven.

TRAVEL:
These jobs will be all throughout the United States. Their first few jobs will be here locally in the Metro Detroit area to learn our company's processes and procedures. Once acquainted with this process, Finishers will start being sent out on projects out of state. Additional compensation on a per diem structure and high Over Time (O/T) potential.
