Structures Technician - Full-time / Part-time

They will be conducting heavy sheetmetal maintenance on ERJ 145, 170, and 190 aircraft; Embraer will consider candidates from both a rotory wing or fixed wing background as long as they have worked on "live"aircraft and have heavy depot level repair experience or modication experience; With that being said, the strongly prefer commercial fixed wing experience. They are seeking candidates that have heavy maintenance sheetmetal/structures repair experience as opposed to manufacturing/assembly experience.

Test the Job Description:

They must have heavy depot level sheetmetal/structural repair experience. Fixed wing aircraft is strongly preferred, but is NOT required. If they have depot level experience they will consider rotary or fixed wing experience. They must be able to do repair layouts and read blueprints.

What they must be able to DO on their first day:

On their first day they will be in orientation. There will be some computer based training, so they need to have some basic computer skills (ie, use a mouse, navigate through computer screens). Their first operational day, they will need to be able to conduct heavy sheetmetal repairs, read blueprints, and do repair layouts, take out and replace beams, interpret engineering orders, and understand the processes necessary to produce, repair, or fabricate product in the MRO environment
