Material Handler - Full-time / Part-time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

COMPANY assembles high-performance shocks for the automotive industry.

There are two different departments that there are openings:

- One department is working at the main plant. This person will be operating a "tugger" to bring parts to the lines or operating a sit down forklift to put away products.

- The other department is working at the shipping center which is an external warehouse. This person will be operating a stand-up forklift/reach truck 90% of the time but they do have a few sit down forklifts which candidates need to be able to operate as well.

Both departments are very fast paced and physical position.

SHIFT HOURS:

4th Shift
A and C Rotation - 6a - 6:15p
B and D Rotation - 6p - 6:15a

Schedule for the 12 hour shift is as follows: 2-on-2-off-3-on-2-off

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

2nd shift - 3:00p - 11:30p
3rd shift - 9:30p - 6:00a

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST HAVE:
- 1-2 years of experience operating a sit down or stand up forklift in a mfg or warehouse environment.
-ability to lift up to 50 lbs. manually
-HS or GED (Must Have)
-Ability to pass a Standard DT and BKG
-Open availability to work at least 6 days a week.

PREFERRED:
-Automotive experience
- stand up forklift experience (candidates do not need to have stand up for the tugger position)
