Responsibilities:

• Leads the design ideas and sees through from concept to execution.
• Provides leadership in creative process by creating trend concepts the designs will be created from.
• Creates a positive team environment and has strong vision.
• Research Color and Trend for each season, develops and shares ideas.
• Develops high volume of concept boards, sketch, design artwork and select standards using trend and color. Ensure deadlines and met.
• Travel domestically and overseas to retail shop, shows and vendors.
• Provides direction for private label and branded production.
• Present ideas to buying and merchant teams, collaborates on next step results.

Skill Requirements:

• Prefer a degree in Fine Arts or Design.
• No less than 5+ years of directly related design experience.
• No less than 1+ years managing, leading and developing others.
• International and Domestic travel experience
• CAD design skills
• PC skills, Strong Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of trend/color/concept services
• Highly developed design and trend sense
• Ability to sketch
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow through skills
• Works well in team environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Create a positive environment in a diverse workforce
