In this role, you will be involved in developing innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. Predominantly you will be designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver value to our organization. Design, implement and maintain .Net application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
Identify production and non-production application issues
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects
Provide technical support and consultation for .Net application and infrastructure questions
Serve as a mentor to less experienced DevelopersDeveloper Skills. SDLC knowledge. Production Support. Technical Skills - Java, MYSQL, JBOSS, UNIX, Agile.
Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. *Employees in jobs labeled with (SCA) must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 


Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years equivalent work experience in the IT field

3+ years of Software Development experience involving in full lifecycle development

2+ years of Java/J2EE Or 6+ years in C/ C++ with 1 year of Java/J2EE development experience in a complex, enterprise system environment

2+ years of experience with Relational Databases
Preferred Qualifications:


Previous experience working with development repository tool, such as Subclipse or TortoiseSVN

Previous experience with JMS messaging concepts and implementation, including understanding of queues, topics, message selectors and message routing

Experience with Web Services and underlying Java services implementations (JAX - WS or JAX - RPC)

Previous experience with Web Services Description Language (WSDL), XML, XML API, and XML Schemas (XSD)

Experience working in Agile methodology

Experience with JBOSS,  IntelliJ IDEA
Soft Skills:


Strong analytical and technical aptitude with proven experience troubleshooting issues in a complex environment
