Quality Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

POSITION: QUALITY INSPECTOR

The key role of an inspector is that of examining any/all parts, their materials, finishes and properties for any defects by ensuring that all parts conform to the highest quality standards. Act as part of a team of quality control inspectors with concern to product quality, standards and certificates, as well as any quality issues. The quality inspector must also have a keen eye and attention to detail in order to ensure that all parts meet individual specifications and that all inspections are properly documented.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Approves finished product by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional inspections
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; input data into quality databases
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operational instructions;
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following all/any standards, procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications and/or actively learning from experienced staff
• Ensures all product meets or surpasses quality standards as per Customer and company's specifications during various stages of production
